The main aircraft we operate at SkyMotion Media is the DJI Inspire 1 Pro quadcopter. This incredible platform is one of the most sophisticated and professional aerial filming SUA’s on the market and offers unprecedented imaging capturing and flight stabilisation technology. One of the features of this aircraft is its ability to raise its carbon fiber arms out of the camera’s way at the flick of a switch enabling a full 360⁰ unobstructed view.
The detachable Zenmuse X5 micro 4/3 camera sensor results in images that are crisper and more detailed than any previous aerial camera. The camera uses an adjustable (F/1.7-F/16) iris, 30 mm lens that is specifically made for aerial imaging. Capable of recording 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at up to 30 fps, 2.7K (2704×1520) at up to 30 fps, and Full HD (1920 x 1080) at up to 60 fps in MP4/MOV format enables us to record professional-level footage with stunning clarity and detail as well as allowing us to capture extraordinary 16 megapixel photos.
This particular drone has been used in some of Hollywood’s major motion pictures so we at SkyMotion Media think it will be more than capable for your requirements. Our quadcopter is equipped with a highly reliable 3-axis gimbal that constantly communicates with the aircraft. It quickly compensates for every minor movement by automatically stabilising the camera in flight which allows for perfect real-time transmission that if need be can be displayed to a HD screen allowing you to view footage while we carry out inspections. This aircraft is perfect for aerial cinematography and inspection work due to its size and responsiveness. To complement this and increase its versatility we have a range of lenses that we utilise. Our 45mm lens as well as our Olympus 14 – 42 zoom lens will allow us to zoom in on problematic areas without getting to close to a structure therefore eliminating possible confliction between our drone and your asset.
In addition to all this the Inspire 1 Pro can be fitted with the Zenmuse XT thermal imaging camera.
Using the FLIR thermal imaging camera fitted on our drone brings new capabilities and expands the possibilities for numerous applications like search and rescue, the inspection of power lines, solar panels, towers, bridges, substations, pipelines and buildings and also fire fighting and precision agriculture just to name a few.
